Namor, also known as Prince Namor, is a prominent character in Marvel Comics. He first appeared in *Marvel Comics* #1 in 1939.
Namor is the son of a human sea captain and a princess of the undersea kingdom of Atlantis. This dual heritage grants him unique powers, including superhuman strength, speed, and the ability to breathe underwater and fly.
Due to his conflicted loyalties and imperious nature, Namor often finds himself at odds with both the surface world and his own people.
